Check book covers can be several different sizes and constructions based on the types of checks you are using. Pegboard checks - or one write checks - can also come in personal or business sizes and the size of the check dictates the size of the cover. Check book covers for these checks are also known as folding pegboards because the checks "peg" down over pins on the left side over a previously pegged down journal. The pins or pegs hold the checks in register with the journals. The pins or pegs can be round, rectangular or even banana shaped depending on the manufacturer.
